Nurse Clinics
Our nurses are experienced and perform many duties, including: clinics in asthma and diabetes; general health/blood pressure/cholesterol checks/weight monitoring; cervical smears; contraception counselling; ear syringing; smoking cessation; minor injuries.
You can also see them regarding travel vaccinations, including yellow fever, childhood immunisations and advice. The nurses work closely with the doctors in all clinical areas, so do not hesitate to consult them if you are worried about any health-related matter.
Attached Staff
Other health professionals attached to the surgery include: district nurses, health visitor, midwives, Macmillan nurses, Primary Care Mental Health nurse & IAPT workers.
Minor Surgery
Some of the doctors at the surgery are able to perform minor operations and joint injections. Please seek advice from your doctor.
Family Planning
We offer general contraceptive advice including implant insertion/removal and coil fitting.
Antenatal Clinic
Antenatal clinics are run by the midwife on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
Baby Clinic
This clinic is run to check that your baby or toddler is developing normally. Our health visitor is also present at this time. Please remember to bring with you your child’s parent-held health record book. Routine child immunisations are also done in this clinic.
Patients Not Seen Within The Last 3 Years
Patients aged between 16 and 75 years who have not been seen by a doctor in the surgery within the last 3 years may ask for a consultation with one of the GP’s.
Patients Aged 75 Years And Over
Patients aged 75 years and over who have not been seen by one of the doctors in the surgery in the last 12 months may ask for a consultation with one of the GP’s.
