Minor Injury Service
We are are sorry to announce that Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG have decided to stop commissioning the Minor Injury Service that we have been providing for our patients. As from April 1st 2019 if you suffer a minor injury please attend your local A&E Department or Urgent Care Centre.

Better Access – More routine primary care appointments
More routine primary care appointments have been made available to people living in our region. Patients registered at GP practices in Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby can pre-book a routine primary care appointment between 6:30pm and 8pm weekdays and between 8:30am and noon on Saturdays and Sundays. This is not a walk-in service – please speak to a receptionist to book your appointment.
You can order your prescription online(please ask at reception for details) or by bringing your repeat slip into reception or the dispensary. You can also take your repeat slip to your local pharmacy.
Online Patient Access
We now offer the ability to book/cancel GP appointments, order repeat prescription and view certain areas or your medical record online. Please ask at reception to register for this service. If you are already registered click here to access to Emis Patient Access
Please note that you should only order medication that is clearly printed as a repeat item on the tear off slip opposite your prescription otherwise there maybe a delay in processing. Find out more

Sepsis - is a rare but serious complication of an infection:
If your child has any of the following symptoms please contact the practice for advice or call 111
- Looks mottled
- Is very lethargic or difficult to wake
- Feels abnormally cold to touch
- Is breathing very fast
- Has a rash that does not fade when pressed
- Has a fit or convulsion

The NHS offers a cervical screening programme to all women from the age of 25. During cervical screening (previously known as a "smear test"), a small sample of cells is taken from the cervix and checked under a microscope for abnormalities.
