Welcome to the Friary Surgery
Please note that the practice will be closed on Thursday 6th September and Tuesday 9th Ocotber 2018 from 12:30pm for staff training. If you require assistance when we are closed please call 111, or in an emergency please call 999. We will be open as normal from 8:00am Friday morning.
FLU VACCINES - Flu vaccines will be available from late September. Our Saturday flu clinic will be on Saturday 6th October 8:30-12:00. Every flu vaccine you have elsewhere means loss of funding for your GP practice, please support The Friary Surgery by coming along to the clinic or booking your flu vaccine appointment today.
We have a few changes taking place over the next few weeks that we would like to tell you about:
We are pleased to be welcoming Dr Todd Green to the practice. Dr Green will be joining us as a partner on Wednesday 1st August. Some of you will remember Todd as he completed some of his GP training with the practice back in 2015.
Sadly on 24th August Lynn our dispensary manager is retiring she has been with the practice for over twenty five years, she is looking forward to spending some quality time with her husband Clive, we wish her a long and happy retirement. Taking over from Lynn in the dispensary will be Dawn Coulbeck. Dawn is starting with the practice on 6th August I am sure you will join us in welcoming her.
Dr Rachel Parrott is also leaving the practice. Dr Parrott has decided to take some time out before deciding which direction to take next. Dr Parrott joined the practice in 2007 as a partner, she will be leaving the practice on 27th September.
We also welcome Dr Jessica Stephens . Dr Stephens has been working locally and will be working part-time at the practice, joining us on 24th September.
From Monday 6th August our dispensary will open at 8:30am and close at 6pm, we hope the earlier opening time will be welcomed by our patients.
